Led By Example was born out of two labels from the UK :b&g Records was a small mp3 based label who promoted small bands along side larger ones : Far Q Records specialise in underground punk from around the world.

Although pretty much defunct now, it was set up to promote bands primarily from the UK. After a year running and some sales through the distro/order section we had a change of direction as I moved to Brisbane, Australia to be with my girlfriend. The idea was that we could promote UK band in Australia and vice versa. OK, so good in theory but through band and other label commitments from Paul and me being a million miles away it didn't really work!

We are now up to nearly four years existance and not a lot gained, but hopefully we bought a bit of punk into peoples lives that they may not have heard of it if it weren't for us! :) I have some ideas, but I'll keep them under wraps until they are set!
